Foods you should eat every day to lead a healthy life

We live in a world where everything operates in a fast manner. We invented things to make life easy for us but instead we have only become more stressed. In our busy lives, we often forget to eat healthily. Most of us end up grabbing a bite to fill our stomach and do not care about the nutritious values. Our body is made in such a way that it needs the adequate nutrients to perform various activities and when we do not eat the right type of food, our body will not have the immunity to fight various diseases.

The following are some of the food you need to include in your diet every day to lead a healthy life:

Spinach:

Spinach is one of the best foods anyone could ever eat. It is extremely nutritional and is one of the rich sources of fibre and all kinds of vitamins. Most of us try to avoid eating green leafy vegetables but little do we know that it is one of the best things to eat to keep us healthy and fit. Try to include green leafy vegetables in your daily diet and see how your body responds to that.

Apples:

Well, the old saying goes, “An Apple a day keeps the doctor away”. The saying has always been true as apples are loaded with antioxidants quercetin and catechin. These antioxidants protect our cells, and it also helps in reducing the risk of cancer and heart diseases. Also, try not to shave the skin as you have a lot of fibre in the skin of the apple.

Green Tea:

Most of us have the habit of taking a tea break while working. Instead of drinking other drinks and beverages, you can try drinking green tea. Green tea contains antioxidant named catechin which helps in preventing cell damage. It also helps in reducing the inflammation in our body and keeps the blood pressure down. Also, remember to keep your tea green and not sweet.

Oats:

Oats is one of the best breakfasts you can ever eat. It is filled with fibre and can lower your blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Oats are also a good source of carbohydrate and beta-glucan which is a soluble fibre which helps to slow down digestion and it also helps to keep your blood sugar level down.

Avocados:

Avocados are a life saver. It can easily take the place of your dairy products. If you feel that the dairy products contain a lot of fat, you can easily substitute it with avocados. It is rich in sodium and potassium and has a lot of dietary fibre in it. Avocados are also rich in vitamins like A, D and B-12.

Yoghurt:

Yoghurt helps in reducing the growth of harmful bacteria in the digestive tract. It also helps in maintain ph levels in your body.
